ROCHESTER, Minn. – Sexually assaulting an underage victim in 2021 is finally sending a Rochester man to prison.

Moices Rosete Francisco, 29, was convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and second-degree criminal sexual conduct. A jury returned that guilty verdict in August. Charges were filed against Francisco in December 2022.

The Rochester Police Department says Francisco sexually assaulted an underage victim in September 2021.

Francisco has now been sentenced to up to 12 years in prison, with credit for 127 days already served, followed by 10 years of conditional release.
