Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow has been consistently connected to the likes of Ketel Marte, Bo Bichette, Alex Bregman, Pete Alonso and Kyle Schwarber — so what’s another name added to the list?

The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal filed a new report on Tuesday, which claims the club is pricing every available option and has started to express interest in Houston Astros corner infielder Isaac Paredes.

Paredes, 26, is under club control for two more seasons and is coming off back-to-back All-Star selections after combining to slash .245/.348/.420 with 39 home runs and 133 RBIs with the Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros
