Katseye has been crowned as the Global Artist of the Year, according to TikTok .

The social media platform unveiled its annual TikTok Year in Music recap, with Katseye leading the charge on a global scale. Alan Arietta came in behind them at No. 2, followed by Enhypen, Bad Bunny, Stray Kids, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Fuerza Regida, Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande.

Connie Francis’ “Pretty Little Baby” — yes, the classic from 1962 — was the top-ranking song both globally and in the United States, thanks to its viral resurgence on the app. Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand,” which topped TikTok’s Songs of the Summer tally earlier this year, ranked at No. 2 both globally and in the U.S. (“Hold My Hand” also ranked at No. 1 on the United Kingdom top 10 list.)
