Prince William has taken his role as the Prince of Wales very seriously ever since his father became the King. As next in line to the throne, William, 43, is thinking carefully about the approach he will take , and has already dropped certain hints about what we can expect to see.

As well as wanting to do royal with a “small r” , William has also made it clear that he is not afraid of change. In fact, he has made it clear that change is on the agenda and will be something he will “embrace”.

This change is rumoured to focus on many different parts of the monarchy and the institution, including cutting costs, management of the Royal Household and what sort of engagements are carried out.
