It's been five years since Philip Rivers last played in the NFL. But with the Indianapolis Colts losing Daniel Jones for the season, it might be time to make a comeback.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Rivers already worked out for the Colts. The workout was reportedly scheduled for Tuesday, but Rivers met with the team earlier.

"The Philip Rivers workout with the Colts took place Monday night, per source. Threw the ball well. Will see what’s next," Fowler reported .

However, as pointed out by NFL Network's Steve Wyche, making a comeback would mean that Rivers' Hall of Fame clock would reset again.
