A significant fire broke out Tuesday morning on the Upper West Side, according to FDNY and photos from the scene.
The flames ignited around 8:20 a.m. inside of 201 West 107th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam, an FDNY spokesperson told West Side Rag.
The fire began within the top floor of the six-story residential building, FDNY added.
It was labeled as a three-alarm fire as of 8:35 a.m. and there are 140 fire fighters and emergency medical services working against the blaze, according to the FDNY.
The flames are not yet under control, and it is unclear if anyone is injured.
