Prince Harry has been dealt a brutal blow by a royal expert for making an "unwise" decision. Over the last few weeks, the Duke of Sussex has made two jokes about US President Donald Trump.

This included a joke on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show last week, when Harry joked about how Americans are obsessed with royalty. When Colbert suggested otherwise, the Duke quipped: “Really? I hear you elected a king.” This was believed to be in reference to the “No Kings” protests directed at the Trump administration.

A few days later, Harry then made a surprise appearance at the British American Business Council in Santa Monica and cracked yet another joke at Trump's expense.
