Police say a weeks-long robbery pattern that terrorized several Westchester County businesses has been brought to an end following the arrest of two teenagers who will face federal charges.

Two men, aged 18 and 19, were taken into custody in connection with a series of armed robberies in Mount Vernon throughout November, the Mount Vernon Police Department announced on Monday, Nov. 8.

The arrests followed an investigation with the help of the NYPD and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

Investigators linked both suspects to two armed robberies at Holy Cow Restaurant at 520 Gramatan Ave., which happened on Wednesday, Nov. 12, and again on Saturday, Nov. 29.

Police said one of the suspects will also face charges in a Nov. 4 carjacking on Linden Avenue, and a Wednesday, Nov. 19 armed robbery at the Shell gas station at 422 Gramatan Ave.

Because of the seriousness of the crimes, both suspects will be prosecuted federally.

The names of the suspects were not made public.
