WAUSAU − The Marathon County Public Library is hosting a winter reading program in Wausau, running from through February, giving participants a chance to win prizes just for reading and attending events.

Those interested can visit MCPL Wausau at 300 N. First St. to collect a reading log packet and kick-off their winter reading journey, according to a community announcement.

Participants are required to read at least five books, attend three MCPL events and take on various challenges over three months. Successful completion of these tasks allows participants to submit their reading packets by 5 p.m. March 7. This makes them eligible for a drawing to win reading-themed prizes, with the grand prize winners being contacted on March 13.
