A school district in New Jersey is warning parents about a potentially dangerous TikTok trend.
In an email sent to parents, the Stafford Township School District a TikTok video trend had come to their attention that "could be perceived as potentially threatening to the well-being of others."
"We are encouraging families to review their child's social media presence and reinforce the importance of good digital citizenship," the school district said.
The school district did not say what the TikTok trend was. Daily Voice emailed the Stafford School District requesting more information on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
"We are encouraging families to speak with their children about social media trends that involve risky or threatening behavior and lyrics, reminding your children that Stafford Township School District and Stafford Township Police Department takes any threats very seriously," the district said.
