COLUMBUS, Ohio — Questions are swirling after a major report from the state auditor's office.
It found that 39 of the 60 businesses that were given some financial help to create and retain jobs in our state last year didn't reach their job and payroll goals.
On Monday morning, 10 Investigates asked Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel about it.
"The state auditor's office just put out a report last week that found that about two-thirds of the businesses that were given tax incentives, loans to create jobs in Ohio, were listed as noncompliant. They didn't reach their goal. I just want to get your reaction to that figure," asked 10 Investigates.
