The Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ) has issued an update on people switching to Universal Credit. The DWP announced that all Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) recipients who fail to submit their Universal Credit application within a fortnight of receiving their migration deadline notice will "automatically enter the Enhanced Support journey".
According to the department, this pathway "provides tailored and flexible assistance, including phone calls and home visits, to support the migration process".
