KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Developers broke ground Tuesday on what is expected to become an "upscale mixed-use community" in Downtown Knoxville.
TDK Companies and Marble Alley Development are calling the community on 400 State Street, 'Vintage Cal.'
It's expected to include 168 residences, 24 office suites for rent and more than 2,000 square feet of retail. It will also include 15 affordable housing units designated for workforce housing.
