Danny Rohl will have Mohamed Diomande available over the festive period after he was left out of the Ivory Coast squad for the African Cup of nations. ‌

Diomande international is suspended for Thursday night’s Europa League clash in Budapest against Ferencvaros after being sent off last time out against Braga. It was thought that Saturday's 3-0 win over Kilmarnock could be his last appearance for Rohl prior to jetting out to Morocco to join up with the Elephants. ‌

FIFA rules state clubs must release participating players by December 15 which is the same date as Gers host Hibs at home. However, that now won't be an issue as far as Diomande is concerned, who will now remain in Glasgow after being overlooked by national team boss Emerse Fae. ‌
