YOUNGSTOWN - Mercy Health and Lifepoint Behavioral Health will be cutting the ribbon to celebrate the grand opening of the new Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital in Youngstown.
The new 62,000-square-foot hospital, located on Belmont Avenue near Trumbull Avenue, is the result of a joint venture partnership between Mercy Health and Lifepoint Behavioral Health.
The hospital will have 72 beds for patients and is specially built for patients diagnosed with a broad range of psychiatric conditions, like depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorders and mental health concerns, as well as substance abuse.
Additionally, the hospital will offer specialty programs to support first responders, active-duty military personnel and veterans.
