WEATHERSFIELD — A Monday morning fire displaced a family of three after their mobile home was destroyed.

Weathersfield fire Chief Tom Lambert said crews responded at 9:10 a.m. Monday to the Brentwood Manor mobile home park off Evaline Street, where a mobile home was engulfed in flames and another nearby trailer was also partly on fire.

Lambert said two adults and a child were able to get out without injuries.

He said the exterior of the neighboring mobile home also was damaged but the three residents who lived there escaped safely. A contractor is checking on the second trailer.

The state fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
