Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani will head across the East River to Gracie Mansion from Astoria.

Gracie Mansion, the official residence of New York City mayors, is getting a new resident next year.

The “Little White House” has been Mayor Eric Adams’ home since 2022, but when he leaves office in the coming weeks, Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani will move in .

On Monday, Mamdani ended weeks of speculation as to where he’d live when he announced that he and his wife, Rama Duwaji, will call Gracie Mansion home. He’ll leave his rent-stabilized one-bedroom home in Astoria for the sake of his family.
