Clemson entered the 2025 college football season with national championship aspirations. But after a 3-5 start to the year, those high hopes quickly went out the window.

With this brutal start to the season, rumblings regarding Dabo Swinney's longterm future as the Tigers' head coach began to surface.

Those rumblings were appeased by a four-game winning streak to close out the year. Clemson finished the season with a 7-5 record, earning the program an invitation to a Pinstripe Bowl matchup against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
