While most of Ole Miss' offensive staff left the Rebels ahead of the College Football Playoff to join Lane Kiffin at LSU, many of those coaches are now reportedly set to return to Oxford to coach in the CFP.

Ole Miss offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr., who will also call plays for Kiffin at LSU, had already reportedly been allowed to rejoin the Rebels, and now, he's joined by four of his assistants. Most notably, co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Joe Cox will coach Ole Miss in the CFP, along with receivers coach George McDonald, assistant quarterbacks coach Dane Stevens and slot receiver coach Sawyer Jordan, per ESPN's Pete Thamel.

According to Thamel, all four assistants arrived in Oxford on Monday morning and will be "generally available" to help Ole Miss during its CFP run. The Rebels face Tulane at home in the opening round, a team it beat 45-10 in September.

Kiffin's divorce from Ole Miss was, predictably, pretty ugly. It was unclear whether the Rebels would have most of their offensive staff after those coaches followed Kiffin to Baton Rouge, but it seems that defensive coordinator-turned-permanent head coach Pete Golding will have a mostly complete offensive staff heading into the postseason.
