Eighth accused arrested in widening terror conspiracy

Srinagar, Dec 9: A National Investigation Agency (NIA) team on Tuesday conducted extensive searches in the Hutmurah forest area of Anantnag district as part of its ongoing investigation into the November 10 Red Fort blast in Delhi, which killed 15 people, officials said.

The NIA team, accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF personnel, brought along two arrested accused—Dr. Adeel Rather and Jasir Bilal Wani—to help identify suspected locations allegedly used for testing explosives in south Kashmir forests. At least three sites were searched during the operation.
