With the Eagles ’ offensive line in shambles, ESPN’s Joe Buck didn’t hesitate to toss out a bold suggestion: call Jason Kelce out of retirement.
The former Eagles center, a multiple-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro, has traded pads for a microphone — but even off the field, he remains a legend fans can’t stop cheering for.
“Maybe the Eagles, with these banged-up interior offensive linemen, can call on our friend, ol’ 38-year-old Jason Kelce,” the ESPN Monday Night Football announcer suggested.
His booth in the partner took it one step further.
“I would be surprised if they haven’t already at some point this year,” Aikman replied in a clip shared on X/Twitter, via Awful Announcing . “I think I’d be knocking on his door every week to try to get him to come back. He can still do it.”
