With bowl game and College Football Playoff assignments all set and divvied out, it's reached postseason award announcement season in college football.
That continued in the SEC on Tuesday, Dec. 9 when the conference announced who made the All-SEC postseason teams, as voted on by each of the conference's 16 head coaches.
Leading the way on the All-SEC first team was Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia, who was named the first Commodore player to be invited to the Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York as one of the four finalists for college football's most prestigious award. Pavia threw a career-high 3,192 yards and 27 touchdowns this season for Vanderbilt, while posting the best completion percentage in the SEC at 71.2%.
