Erika Kirk, the widow of late conservative activist Charlie Kirk , is responding to backlash over her public grieving process in the aftermath of her husband’s assassination.
Kirk appeared on Fox News as the Turning Point USA founder’s book , titled “Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life,” was released on Tuesday.
His final book — finished just months before he was shot on Sept. 10 while speaking on the campus of Utah Valley University — explains how the Sabbath is a “radical act of resistance” amid constant noise, according to its synopsis .
“I feel as if Charlie wrote this book for me,” Kirk said on “Fox & Friends,” adding, “These are his last words written that were on his heart.”
