CHEYENNE — Team members from state champion Sheridan High School and runner-up Cheyenne Central High School are headed to nationals in Washington, D.C., after conquering the “We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution” 2025 Wyoming State Finals.

The announcement was made Tuesday afternoon at the state Capitol following a two-day competition that gave Wyoming students from 12 high schools an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of a curriculum focused on the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

This is the 13th time in 14 years that Sheridan has represented Wyoming at the national competition. Separated by just a few points, Cheyenne Central followed Sheridan, taking second place and earning a “wild card” position for nationals.
