NAU women’s basketball is off to about as rocky a start as possible in head coach Laura Dinkins’ first year. Still looking for their first win against a Division I opponent, the Lumberjacks fell to a hot-shooting South Dakota State team at Rolle Activity Center, 88-72, on Saturday.
The Lumberjacks have lost seven games in a row, with their only win coming against NAIA Embry-Riddle on Nov. 11. Their 1-9 record is the program’s worst to start a season since opening 1-10 in the 2012-13 season. ×
