CHRISTINE, N.D. — Redneck Fancy has finally found a place to hang its bejeweled cowboy hat.

Since 2022, owner Amy Beito Gibson has operated the horse tack/hat bar business like a traveling storefront. She hauled her hand-crafted cinches, bridles and other stable gear in a horse trailer to rodeos, horse shows and other related events.

Once she built a following, Beito Gibson figured she could invest in a brick and mortar so customers would come to her.

Now that time has come. Beito Gibson just opened her Redneck Fancy store in the former Christine Lutheran Church, a 125-year-old prairie gem with huge stained-glass windows, a fully finished church basement and even a working church bell.

The church closed its doors on Christmas Eve 2020 and has been unused since.
