It has been 12 years since she first wore the Indian colours, and during this period, Smriti Mandhana has come to realise one thing: there is nothing in the world she loves more than cricket.

India’s greatest left-handed woman batter, Mandhana, reflected on her journey from making her debut in 2013 to playing a significant role in the team’s World Cup triumph a month ago.

Discussing what motivates her, Mandhana said, “I don’t think I love anything more than cricket. Wearing that Indian jersey is the motivation that drives us.
