COPPELL--- Despite the expectation of a solid game, the fans in attendance at Coppell High School for the non-district matchup between the Cowboys and the Frisco Memorial boys basketball teams were in for a treat.

A hotly contested start, the game rarely calmed down until the finish. There were emphatic alley-oops, stretches that looked like the game was heading for overtime, foul-outs and everything in between.
