The Met Gala has lined up a star-studded set of hosts for 2026.

Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams are set to serve as co-chairs for next year's Met Gala alongside Anna Wintour, Vogue announced on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

This will be a Met Gala return for the "Texas Hold 'Em" singer, who has not attended fashion's biggest night in 10 years. Beyoncé made her most recent Met Gala appearance in 2016.

Vogue also announced that designer Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz will co-chair the Met Gala Host Committee for 2026 with members Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Gwendoline Christie, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Debicki, Lena Dunham, Lisa, Sam Smith, Teyana Taylor and more stars.

The Met Gala, also known as the Costume Institute Benefit, raises money each year for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. Falling always on the first Monday of May, the most recent theme for the gala was "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style." Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky and Lewis Hamilton served as co-chairs. LeBron James was also an honorary host.

Unlike Beyoncé, Kidman and Williams both attended the most recent Met Gala.

Wednesday's announcement comes a few weeks after "Costume Art" was revealed as the theme for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's spring 2026 exhibition.

The exhibition will focus on the "centrality of the dressed body in the museum's vast collection," pairing contemporary and historic garments from the Costume Institute's collection with paintings, sculptures and other art "spanning 5,000 years" from The Met.

"It's a huge moment for the Costume Institute," Andrew Bolton, the exhibition's curator in charge, previously told Vogue. "It will be transformative for our department, but I also think it's going to be transformative to fashion more generally — the fact that an art museum like The Met is actually giving a central location to fashion."

The dress code for the 2026 Met Gala hasn't yet been revealed. Fashion's biggest night is set to take place on May 4, 2026.

Lauren Sánchez Bezos funding 2026 Met Gala

Lauren Sánchez Bezos, who married Amazon founder Jeff Bezos over the summer, will act as a donor for this year's Met Gala.

In November, Wintour told CNN she believes Sánchez Bezos will be a "wonderful asset" to the fundraiser.

"I think Lauren is going to be a wonderful asset to the museum and to the event," the Vogue editor in chief said. "[I'm] very grateful for her incredible generosity, and she's a great lover of costume and obviously of fashion, so we're thrilled she's part of the night."
