PEOPLE confirms that Jen Shah has officially been released after serving 2 years, 9 months and 23 days in federal prison.

She's been behind bars since February 17 2023 for her role in a long-running nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme.

It's unknown where she went, but BOP policy states she could either have been sent home or transferred to a halfway house to complete the remaining portion of her sentence under supervision.

Shah was originally sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison, but that was later reduced multiple times.
