SHREVEPORT, La. -- A man wanted in a murder attempt last month was arrested Wednesday through a joint effort.
Shreveport police had been looking for Alvin Robinson, 48, in connection with a shooting during the early morning hours of Nov. 25. Officers responded to the 1400 block of West 59th Street and found a gunshot victim. He was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
Officers got limited witness cooperation at the scene, which initially hindered the investigation, according to Shreveport police.
Despite the challenge, detectives gathered information that led to Robinson as the suspected shooter. An arrest warrant was obtained for attempted second-degree murder.
Today, the U.S. Marshals Task Force assisted SPD in apprehending Robins
