Syracuse, N.Y. — Christian Brothers Academy’s perfect season has again culminated in a well-deserved place at the front of its class.

The Brothers, who won their third-straight state Class AA title last weekend, were slotted as co-No. 1 in the final New York State Sportswriters’ Association football rankings of the season.

CBA (13-0) was tied with Iona Prep (11-1) at the top.

Section III’s Morrisville-Eaton, the state regional 8-man champion, also finished the season No. 1 in its respective division.

Overall, 18 teams from the section earned places in the final poll. Here’s where they all landed.
