Jeff Garcia , a beloved Jimmy Neutron and Nickelodeon star, has passed away at the age of 50. Garcia voiced Jimmy's close friend, Sheen Estevez, in the 2001 movie Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and reprised the part in numerous other projects as well.

On Instagram, Garcia's son, Joseph, announced his father's death. Multiple family members also confirmed to TMZ that Garcia died in the early morning hours of December 10 after being taken off of life support at a Southern California hospital during Tuesday evening.

Garcia was born on May 3, 1975 in La Puente, California. In 1991, he launched his career as a stand-up comedian while performing at a wide range of comedy clubs, including the Laugh Factory.

His first acting credit was in a 1995 episode of the Lea Thompson-led NBC sitco
