Ex- Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore has been detained by police.
Moore, who coached at Louisville beginning in 2009 as a graduate assistant and was the Cardinals' tight ends coach from 2012-13, was located and detained by police in Saline, Michigan, according to ESPN's Dan Wetzel , and turned over to Pittsfield Township for an investigation into potential charges.
The news comes after Moore was fired for cause earlier Wednesday after a Michigan investigation allegedly found "credible evidence" that "Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member."
At this time it's not clear what he was detained for.
