A newly released video showed the moments a fugitive took off from a traffic stop, leading St. Johns County deputies on a high-speed chase before ditching the vehicle and starting a foot pursuit.

Tomal Bowe, 33, a fugitive out of the Bahamas, was accused of taking off after a deputy pulled him over on Thursday, Dec. 4.

The video began with Bowe inside a car when the deputy asked him for identification. The video does not show Bowe present any identification before it skips to the deputy saying, “You can come back here with me, my man. I’m just going to get all of your information while you’re back here with me, okay?”

Bowe does not respond and speeds off, immediately driving the wrong way on Interstate 95 near International Golf Parkway.
