New work is being done to address New Hampshire's child care shortage with an apprenticeship program.
Eleven people graduated Wednesday from the Empowered Futures Program, and most of them said they already had jobs lined up in the child care industry.

The Empowered Futures Program is a 10-week course in which participants receive training, courses and experience that prepare them for a future in child care.
