HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A robot named Pepper greeted visitors at the Aina Haina Public Library for the first time Wednesday.
Pepper is responsible for greeting visitors, answering questions, promoting library programs and services, providing tutorials, helping people navigate the library, and engaging keiki with stories and activities.
“Pepper helps the library turn big ideas about robots into approachable, real-world experiences that spark curiosity and help people get comfortable interacting with emerging technology,” said Lt. Governor Sylvia Luke.
