PEMBROKE — UNC Pembroke soccer’s Freya Lodge Whitham, Eugenie Amidou and Mercy Bell each earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region team released Tuesday afternoon by the organization.

Lodge Whitham was tabbed to the second team at defender after playing every minute for the Black & Gold and anchoring a back line that allowed just 0.62 goals per match in conference play, good for second in Conference Carolinas. The Christchurch, New Zealand native also played an integral role in the Braves turning in ten shutouts over the regular season.

Amidou was voted to the third team as a midfielder after logging four goals and three assists. The Montreal, Quebec, Canada native played the full 90 minutes in all but two matches, and recorded both goals in the 2-0 win over Ferrum
