The Raptors 905 have made G League history.
The Toronto Raptors‘ affiliate club won their 11th straight game to start the season on Wednesday, the most consecutive wins by a franchise in the history of the G League’s tip-off tournament or showcase cup schedule format.
The 905 bested the Delaware Bluecoats 115-108 to secure the record.
Jonathan Mogbo, playing while on assignment from the Raptors, led the way with 20 points, adding five rebounds and two steals. Two-way guard Chucky Hepburn had 17 points, 15 assists and three steals and Canadian wings A.J. Lawson and Quincy Guerrier also chipped in 17 points apiece.
Mogbo has excelled during his recent run with the Mississauga, Ont. based squad, averaging 18.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals over his last four games.
