Ranchi, Dec 10 (PTI) Three people were killed and two others, including an eight-year-old boy, were injured in separate road accidents across Jharkhand on Wednesday, police said.
In Gumla district, a speeding truck rammed into a motorcycle carrying a couple and their child on the Ranchi-Gumla highway, they said.
The woman (30) later succumbed to injuries while being taken to RIMS in Ranchi, and her husband and child suffered critical injuries, a police officer said.
In Dhanbad district, a 45-year-old man was killed after being run over by a speeding car near Barwaada Kisan Chowk.
The car driver has been detained and the vehicle seized, the officer said.
In another incident in Deoghar district, a man died after being hit by a car near Modern Public School, police said. PTI CORR RPS RBT
