MANDATA — Six Line Mountain wrestlers won by bonus points to help the Eagles take a 38-25 victory over Newport in their first dual of the season in Wednesday's Tri-Valley Athletic Association match.

Cody Mirarchi (139 pounds) and Jackson Kauwell (285) earned pins while Brock Rothermel (133), Jordan Shingara, Jr. (145), Dalton Schadel (160) and Nolan Savage (172) picked up technical falls. Ace Shipe (127) and Cade Feger (189) also won by decision for the Eagles (1-0).
