Cricket Australia has announced a 15-player squad for the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026, scheduled to take place in Namibia and Zimbabwe from 15 January to 6 February.
The squad includes two players of Indian heritage (Aryan Sharma and John James), two of Sri Lankan descent (Naden Cooray and Nitesh Samuel), and one of Chinese origin (Alex Lee Young).
Australia, the defending champions, will be led by captain Oliver Peake. The coaching team will be headed by Tim Nielsen, with support from assistant coaches Luke Butterworth and Travis Dean.
Placed in Group C, Australia will compete against Ireland, Japan, and Sri Lanka. The team is set to arrive in Namibia in early January, with warm-up matches scheduled from 9 to 14 January.
