The City of Kitchener has extended its snow event and on-street parking ban until noon on Thursday.

Vehicles left on streets may be ticketed and towed, and overnight parking exemptions are cancelled.

Similar bans remain in place until 7 a.m. Thursday in Cambridge, and until noon Thursday in Waterloo.

Bans are in place for a 24-hour period from the time they’re issued, and can be extended.
