Venkatesh Prasad, the newly elected president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), and his team initiated their efforts on Wednesday by visiting the KSCA Stadium in Belagavi. They also held discussions with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to explore ways to reinstate top-level cricket at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Prasad, accompanied by vice-president Sujith Somasundar and secretary Santosh Menon, assessed the condition of the KSCA Stadium in Belagavi. Veteran administrator Vinay Mruthyanjaya and KSCA Dharwad division’s convener Avinash Potdar were also part of the inspection team.
