WAYCROSS, Ga. — The Waycross Police Department announced three arrests Wednesday night in connection with the murder of 35-year-old Lawrence Woods.

According to the agency, officers responded to gunshots on Isabella Street at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 29. Upon arrival, they discovered Woods deceased.

WPD said an investigation quickly led to the arrests of Alex Taylor, 38, on Nov. 30, and Willie Edwards, 27, on Dec. 1. Keitric McCaskey, 31, was arrested on Wednesday.

All three suspects were being held at the Ware County Jail, according to WPD, on murder charges. Additional charges are expected to be added as the investigation continues.
