At least three people were killed as flood waters swept through cities in the semi-autonomous Kurdish region of Iraq.
The flash floods in Chamchamal, Kalar, and Ranya followed two days of continuous heavy rain.
Dozens of others were injured in the flooding, according to local officials.
Residents and volunteers on Wednesday joined forces to clear debris and mud from streets and homes.
The Iraqi and the Kurdish governments are sending aid, essential supplies, and rescue workers to the affected areas.
