Lava has expanded its Play series with the launch of the Lava Play Max, a performance-focused smartphone aimed at users who prioritise gaming and heavy multitasking. The handset features a 6.72-inch full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with a 5,000mAh battery. Lava claims the device is the first in its segment to include a vapour chamber, allowing the phone to maintain stable temperatures during demanding usage.
The Lava Play Max will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, both offering 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB. The company has priced the 6GB model at Rs 12,999, while the 8GB version will cost Rs 14,499. It will be offered in two colour options — Deccan Black and Hi
