A young office worker in Spain lost her job for a reason most people would never expect – she kept arriving far too early. The 22-year-old employee had a habit of showing up at around 6:45 or 7 am, even though her shift only began at 7:30 am. Her boss had told her many times not to clock in before her shift, but she ignored the instructions and kept doing it anyway.

Each time she arrived early, she still had no assigned work to do. According to her manager, these extra minutes were not useful for the company and only showed that she wasn’t following the rules. After months of reminders, warnings and frustration, her boss eventually fired her for serious misconduct.

Company Points to Multiple Breaches of Rules
