Sir Chris Hoy revealed how he broke his leg in what he has described as his "worst crash ever", as he continues to receive treatment for prostate cancer. The British cycling legend was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in September 2023.

He revealed his diagnosis publicly at the start of 2024. Despite undergoing a series of treatments, including chemotherapy, Hoy continues to ride his bike – just not professionally. Unfortunately, the 49-year-old has now suffered a serious incident while riding his mountain bike.

He told Sky Sports : "I've smashed my leg up on the mountain bike, that's the worst thing that's happened recently. You just don't bounce like you do when you're younger.
