Following the success of 28 Years Later earlier this year, as well as the excitement building around 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple which hits cinemas in January, the Danny Boyle franchise continues to go from strength to strength.

It is hard to believe that it was 2002 that 28 Days Later was released, shining a light on the British zombie genre as well as now Academy Award-winning actor Cillian Murphy.

Since then, the franchise has welcomed two, soon to be three sequels, but it seems as though 28 Years Later is far from wrapping up anytime soon.

Not only that but with Murphy taking a back seat in the franchise since his stunning performance in 28 Days Later, now preferring to take on a producing role, a recent report reveals that he may be set to return.
